Take A Look At America’s Most Expensive Property Inspired By The Palace Of Versailles

“Le Palais Royal” is officially one of the most expensive properties in the U.S. owned by Robert Pereira. The 60,500-square-foot Hillsboro Beach mansion, which took nine years to build, was inspired by the Palace of Versailles in France.

Located in Hillsboro Beach, Florida, The property was originally listed for $139 million in 2014 and was removed from the market about a year later to allow the project manager to add an extra 1.5 acres because the estate needed more land and entertaining space.

Now when the main residence’s construction has been completed, it’s currently listed for sale with an even-bigger price tag: $159 million.

The main house has 11 bedrooms, a pool and entertainment space, an ice-skating rink, go-cart track, bowling alley, night cluband,  1,300 gallon aquarium, 18 seat IMAX theatre and a 30-car garage.

The estate has a number of luxury features, including six waterfalls – one of them 25 feet tall, a $2 million grand staircase, a 4.4 acres of land set on the beach between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway,
with two docks that can fit a 200-foot yacht.
