Khloé Kardashian Shared The Workout Routine That Helped Her Lose All That Weight

Khloé Kardashian has definitely stepped her game up over the years, from her business dares to her weight loss and overall style. She certainly looks and is doing amazing!

In an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the reality star and TV host has spoken at length about her weight loss and newfound commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Although her famous family members are often considered among Hollywood’s most fashionable celebrities, Khloe revealed the heartbreaking secret that before she lost 40 pounds, stylists used to refuse to work with her.

“I definitely think the fashion industry, and people in general, look at me more now that I’ve lost weight, Even on shoots, I would never have options for clothing. There would always be this attention on Kourtney and Kim, but I was too much work for [stylists], or they had nothing in my size. I wasn’t even that crazy big!”

She never set out to lose weight, in fact—because she didn’t believe it was possible for her to do so. Khloé admitted that she initially went to the gym as a way to escape her “dark and toxic” home with Lamar Odom. She explained,

“At the time, my family didn’t know what I was going through. It was the biggest secret I’ve kept. I just needed a place to go.”

Khloé famously lost 40 pounds with the help of trainer Gunnar Peterson, known for training Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara. Khloé was put on a strict exercise regime, working out between three and five times a week.

Khloé shared the importance of focusing on a healthy lifestyle instead of on a change in clothing size. She said,

“I never thought about the number, When I started seeing that I could lose weight—because I just thought my body would never change—I started taking it more seriously and eating better.”

Her favors are Pilates and SoulCycle, but concedes that circuit training and really intense cardio gives her the best results.

“I’m a beast at the gym. I’m super competitive and I’m a sweater. I’m like, ‘Don’t f–k with me and don’t mess up my routine,'” she laughed while telling the publication.

She also enjoys working out with her sister Kourtney, she push her to do her best.

“I love that we can work out together. Because Kim sort of prances and is super cute and gorge, while Kourtney and I are dripping wet.”
