Best Spring 2016 Trends From New York Fashion Week

Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone. The question is what can we expect as the top trends for spring 2016? By the looks of the runway shows, look out for plenty of pleats, stripes and much more. Check out some of the top  NYFW spring 2016 trends below.

Designers went head to toe with this trend. Stripes were seen on suit combos, dresses, and everything in between.

Open, Cut out Shoulders

Perhaps taking cues from what was popular in the retail world this summer, more than a few designers showcased tops and dresses with open shoulder silhouettes for Spring 2016.

High Shine

Spring 2016 brought the high-shine details to everything from everyday shorts to special-occasion cocktail dresses, giving our whole wardrobes a little shimmer.

Fringed details

Fringed details got a refreshing twist for Spring. This time the look is modern, offering a refreshing dose of texture in small or big  doses.

Orange was everywhere, as at Jeremy Scott. And Prabal Gurung made much of his Nepal-inspired collection, which was a meditation on orange and yellow.
But black and white never goes out of fashion, and was prominent at Givenchy, Victoria Beckham and Alexander Wang.

Another trend that took over the New York runways for spring 2016 was pleats. The detail can easily get dated, but designers made it modern by keeping pleats small for a micro finish. From side-paneling to all over accents, you will definitely be seeing plenty of pleats next spring.

Statement Earrings

When it comes to accessories prepare for next spring from graphic hoops to chunky drops to hardcore chains more bigger definitely better.
